These are only the files needed to be downloaded.
1. Original Stock Rom (1.25GB)
2. Vroot software - untuk root handphone (6MB)
3. CWM Recovery 5.5 (10MB)
4. Custom Rom (0.9 GB)
5. Odin - untuk flash rom (7MB)
* Steps:
Flashing Original ROM
1. Using your phone, go to Download Mode by pressing the VolDown + Home + Power Button at once, after the phone vibrate, release only the Power button and you will enter the Download Mode. After Korean writing displayed, press VolUp (Android Picture).
2. Open Odin application on the PC/Laptop and connect your phone using the USB cable. Odin will display yellow/blue color at the first box.
3. At Odin, insert the ORIGINAL stock rom by click on the PDA button and choose the " .tar " stock file. DO NOT DISTURB OTHER FUNCTION.
4. Click Start to begin. Wait until the its show PASS ! if the stock already success.
5. Enter Recover Mode VolUp + VolDown + Home + Power Button at once, after the phone vibrate, release only the Power button and you will enter the Recovery Mode.
6. After you enter the recovery mode, navigate using VolUp and VolDown and Power Button (to select). Please clean the data (ALL DATA GONE), clean the cache dalvik and Reboot.
7. Please hold for the new Jelly Bean to load for a while (the boot logo will be 4GLTE) .
* FYI, the original rom is already in Jellybean but got limitation of SMS 80 char and got korean application that can be deleted.You can stop here or proceed with the custom ROM.
Root Your Phone
1. Download the Vroot application. Launch the application.
2. Connect your phone with USB cable and see if the Vroot detect the phone.
3. Just click the ROOT button and wait until it said success or what so ever.
4. Install Root Checker from Play Store and check the Root status.
Install CWM Backup
1. Download the CWM.zip file and copy to your SD card.
2. Go to Recover Mode, choose " install zip from SD Card" > " choose zip file from SD Card " > choose the "CWM" file.
3. Wait until update complete. clean data + cache + dalvik.
4. Reboot to recovery mode again and see if CWM stated at the top of recovery mode.
Install Custom ROM
1. Download the Custom ROM file and copy to your SD card (you can copy together with the CWM also)
2. Go to Recover Mode, choose " install zip from SD Card" > " choose zip file from SD Card " > choose the "CWM" file.
3. Wait until update complete. clean data + cache + dalvik.
4. reboot and let the ROM loaded (the boot logo will be original Samsung)
* This Custom ROM already fix the 80 character SMS limit but got China application since it from there.
