Due to solidfiles redirecting you after you click on download, you can't remove the session cookies using shift F9 i.e. you will be using the same tor circuit for all downloads even if you change circuit on the first 1st dl page.
Here's how to have none of that bullshit--with little extra effort. Btw, this is gtu8rhefj5, he who fucked up a keepassXC pw change - though i'm 99.99% sure none of you'd recognize that username anyway smile
~~``STEPS``~~
1. For first download: change circuit if you want, doesn't matter, just dl the 1st file of a batch
2. Subsequent downloads: go to page, and change circuit (note that this step might not actually be necessary, but i have not tested this). then, click download
3. as soon as the 2nd page starts loading (the one with "/dl" at the end of it, that redirects you to the first page if you try to paste and search in address bar), hit the 'stop loading this page' icon on top left of browser 2-3 times, and rather quickly. can also just press esc key.
-sidenote; hitting that icon may result in a couple attempts to refresh to page, which gives you an prompt for each click, asking if you want to resubmit form for all of those refresh requests. decline resubmission to all prompts.
5. the solution is not to remove cookies here -they do not submit to removal requests. however--there is the 'click here' hyperlink for if your dl doesn't start automatically.
6. right click that hyperlink, and select 'open in new private window' option - which changes the circuit + starts the download.
rinse, and repeat. a little more active engagement is needed, but it has been working like a charm for me in past few, where batches of up to 6 files mostly stayed at around the 500kbps cap that was the previous norm. with all the filehost shit housery going on these days, this should be a fix for reliable usage of at least one of the main ones... though likely not permanent one.
-2nd sidenote; once the initial dl is completed, you can start another without opening in new private window the backup hyperlink.
Please test, and let me know how it works for yourselves. Any suggested improvements to the above procedure are welcome.
