Recommended Tor or Firefox security Browser Settings

Due to RL time restraints/work involved, I can not update as frequently as I would like sad Please keep the discussion going smile.

Non Tables Version

First Click on the Security Level Shield icon (top right) and select advanced security settings, then choose Safest. (can also be done in preferences) Just something I like to do next, is right click the tabs bar to get the menu bar. Then I select edit/preferences and activate "When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" and because I sometimes like to get High wink select "Check your spelling as you type". From there it's easy to change about:preferences to about:config See the Preferences Section below for more recommended settings.

About:config (V 10.0) about:config V10.-- Always in Testing Mode

Optional:
browser.sessionhistory.max_entries
This option determines the number of pages saved in the Browser Back option during the session (the memory is cleared when Tor is closed). Set it to 0 or a low number if there is a risk of someone else using your computer when the Tor session is open.
******************************************************
and just for good measure throw in a "New Identity" after modifications wink

Note: If you're wondering what the above settings do, visit http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries
(warning: clearnet link and I have no idea about their updating policy).
********************************************************
I should also mention it was recommended that the Tor Browser not be used "Maximized" and that since V9.0 has something called "Letter Boxing" which can be disabled.
You might Not want to disable this if you use your browser maximized (you will see a white border around the page you are viewing)
Stay Safe Brothers, Sisters and Those Between

I would rather be a pale shade of purple than open to malicious exploits.
with these settings you have the approximate same fingerprint as 1 of 60.XXX out of hundreds of thousands, I will live with that, because if you just hit the safer option on Tor Browser you are still only 1/60 .002 (try it) safer than my settings of several hundred thousand browsers and still this will change frequently as the site evolves with each visit and results will change.

and don't take my word for it... learn what the switches mean! go and learn how malicious exploits can be incorporated/embedded into your browser! (It's as easy as.... search ... how can malicious exploits affect my browser?)

The only thing you can believe is I never want this/us to ever end
